Délifrance Mother's & Father's Day treats review

Last week I had a chance to try out Délifrance exclusive special thanks to Sample Store 💓

I'm sure many of you have heard of the no stranger Délifrance. The brand has over 30 years of presence in Singapore. Currently, there are 17 cafe-bakery outlets in Singapore islandwide and they are all Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) halal-certified. All the food products sold at Délifrance Singapore's retail outlets are produced at halal-certified food manufacturing facilities.

Délifrance has prepared 2 selections of delicious cakes for you to choose from.

The Passionfruit Cheesecake selling at ($62 whole cake and $7.20/slice) is a rich but refreshing and has a light twist to the classic rice cheesecake. The cranberries, raisins, pumpkin seeds and light osmanthus flowers add an elegant finishing touch to this yummy cheesecake which makes it unique and quite pleasant to one taste bud! I really love this wonderful creation!

And they say that the dad will appreciate this Blueberry Chocolate Cake ($62 whole cake and $7.20/slice)

This super sleek made with fine Couverture Chocolate, creamy butter and inner slightly filled with fragrant blueberry filling and fresh blueberries cake, is a to die for all you chocolate lover. However I'm not really a sweet tooth person, I find this a little sweet for me as I prefer dark chocolate compare to any others! To my surprised, my mum actually love this cake instead as she's usually the picky eater in our house 😜

Apart from the 2 cakes choices, you can bring your parents to any of the 18 outlets in Singapore, and enjoy the exclusive dine-in special available from 7th May - 16th June 2019.

SmartPac Review

Hello darling <3 Hope all of you are doing good. 

Today I'm reviewing my experience I had with SmartPac Post. 

What's SmartPac?

SmartPac is a postage-paid doorstep delivery with free packaging. Flat rates mean you do not have to worry about postage costs or stamp values! Also comes with a time-stamped proof of delivery.

Having a realible delivery for my online shopping is one of the thing that I'm concern the most. I have been facing issue of lost parcel, unknown tracking number, delayed shipment from my online purchases which makes me kinda faustrated. Hence, I went on to search for the most reliable way to have my order delivered to me with a peace of mind. I've been receiving some of my items from samplestore with SmartPac and I like how the package will be store into my mail box if there's no one home to receive the parcel. Therefore I wanted to try using SmartPac on my own. 

Some other things that I like about SmartPac is they are lightweight & convenient. There's no need to weigh item and calculate postage before sending and they will do a doorstep delivery.
As I mentioned above, if you are not at home, SmartPac will be placed in your letterbox. I really can have a peace of mind with their tracking system in place.

Just the other day, I received Stabilo items with SmartPac 😁


How to use SmartPac? 
 Buy – purchase it from any Post Office or Shop@Singpost
Send – Pack your items into a suitable SmartPac (according to weight) and drop it at/in any Post office or street posting box (57 POs and more than 800 posting boxes)
 Track – Track your item’s delivery status via SP.com or SP Mobile App

Things to note is that there's a weight limit of the items you can send of up to 3kg.

And this are some of the prohibited items which are not allow to be pack!
In addition, it is recommended to not send anything that is of high value (e.g. $1000 diamond ring), item with high tendency of leakage (unless sealed tightly) or precious items (e.g. one and only item in the world).
