Golden Mile Complex is both a commercial and residential property located between Beach Road and Nicoll Highway. The complex was fully under construction and completed by 1973. The 16-floor complex is about 89 meters tall, accommodating 411 shops and 500 parking lots.
The shopping mall is well know as Little Thailand as it is filled with Thai eateries, supermarket, clubs, shop and not forgetting the iconic area for travel agency, usually traveler take bus from there to different parts of Malaysia. Which I actually did last Dec to KL.
I was abit flabbergasted to hear that it will be gone by May this year (2023) due to a En Bloc which also spells MONEY for the tenant there, but this means we will be missing lots of yummy food there.
