This time I wanted something that can target deep into my skin targeting the growth of collagen and aging issue. I was introduced to Secret RF treatment which is a non-invasive treatment with minimum down time.
What is Secret RF?
Secret RF is a novel
fractional radio frequency (RF) microneedling system for tissue coagulation and
hemostasis designed to stimulate and remodel collagen and address the common
signs of aging.
It is ideally suited for use
on patients who wish to revitalize and refresh the appearance of their skin on
all skin types. By adjusting the micro-needles, Secret RF can deliver energy at
various depths, so that treatments can be tailored to address each patient’s individual
concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, photo-aging and striae at the depth required.
This is the RF powered micro
cannula. This is the finest, most precise RF microcannula that is around to
date. In addition, because the RF power stops bleeding, the entire process of
subcision can be carried out with virtually no bleeding or bruising. This
is a revolutionary step in the history of scar subcision!
Secret RF’s microcannula is
also able to lift small areas of jowl fats, eyebag fats and double chin fats,
leading to skin tightening and lifting. The precision of the microcannula
allows us to target extremely delicate areas with confidence. The Secret
RF uses micro-needles with a radiofrequency to penetrate into the deep dermal
layers of the skin. This allows for deeper collagen stimulation with better
effect of cutting through of scar fibers.
Because of the tightening effect, it is also able to stretch out rolling scars and improve mid face sagging which is exactly what I need - Tightening + Acne Scar Removal Treatments!
Before starting the treatment, you will need to apply 2 layer of numb
cream for at least 30mins to not have any feeling throughout the treatment.
After ensuring that I
can't feel anything at all, the doctor will proceed with the treatment.
I am glad that the
doctor knows my targeted concerned area which is lost of collagen at the cheek and
jaw area. Hence, my treatment was targeted more at my eye bags and jaw
area.
I was told that there will be downtime of at least 3 days however, there wasn't much downtime for me which I'm quite impressed!
